Propulsion - Movement in water, is achieved by displacing as much water as needed. While buoyant, it is a needed skill to be able to move towards the intended direction. To improve movement, feet are equipped with fins. Legs are more powerful than arms, and can work for longer periods, so a pair of fins is akin to a pair of shoes. Fins modify feet into water-worthy appendages, enhancing a diver's movement through the water.
